Ingredients:
6 cups HEB Chicken Broth- Reduced Sodium
2 2/3 cups Pictsweet- Baby Leaf Kale
3 links Jennie-O Lean Sweet Italian Turkey Sausage
3 small red potatoes
1 large carrot
1 large white onion
1 tbsp McCormick- Cumin Seed
Grounded black pepper
Directions:
Cook your kale according to the instructions on the package, drain leftover water, and then set aside. While waiting, slice your sausage, and then chop your onion and carrot. After, peel your potatoes, and then cut into small pieces. Turn the stove to high, spray a skillet with non-stick spray, and cook your sausage until done. When finished, leave the burner on, and set your sausage aside to cool. Next, use the same burner to place your onion and carrot in a pot to saute. When finished, add in your chicken broth, pepper, and cumin. Let it boil for about 5 minutes, and then add in your potatoes. Boil for about 10 minutes, and then turn to low. Add in your sausage and kale, and keep on the stove for at least 5 minutes, continuing to stir. Divide into 4 servings, and enjoy!
I've never been disappointed in any of the recipes I've tried from Skinnytaste, and to no surprise, I was not disappointed with this one as well. Happy eating! :)
